2023 TWI Seafood Cocktail Party

On Sunday, June 25, the Tisbury Waterways, Inc. Board celebrated its 35th anniversary at the 2023 edition of TWI's annual Seafood Cocktail Party with members and friends. The event, once again hosted by Marilyn and Denys Wortman at their Hines Point home, with a spectacular view of the harbor and Lagoon, was attended by more than 90 people. TWI President Melinda Loberg briefed guests on TWI's work, prompting casual discussion among guests about water quality concerns in Tisbury.  Guests feasted on seafood dishes prepared by Board Members, and oysters supplied by Cottage City Oysters.  

This year a silent auction featured a cruise for six on Michael Jampel's Little Harbor 51' and 18 holes of golf at Mink Meadows Golf Course donated by Mink Meadows Association President Joe Fitzgerald.  In addition, raffle tickets were sold for two one-day tickets to the Beach Road Concert in August, donated by Adam Epstein.  The winner will be picked on July 10.

Tisbury Waterways welcomed the Town's newest Select Board member, Christina Colorusso, among the guests.  Also attending were TWI's 2023 environmental scholarship recipient, Anne Culbert, a rising college senior, and past scholarship recipient, Owen Porterfield.
