Tisbury School Stormwater Education Program

Starting in the spring of 2015, TWI has contracted with the Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary to provide a two-day program for seventh graders in two science classes at the Tisbury School. The students learn about the impact of stormwater on our ponds and harbor and ways to prevent run-off and the erosion and pollution it causes. The class finishes with the installation of colorful medallions on catch basin drains along downtown streets to alert the public. They are TWI blue with a fish and the words “drains to waterway”.
