Please fill out the form below and submit. A TWI representative will be in touch with additional information and your drain adoption supplies!
Guidelines and Safety Tips:
1. Never attempt to clear debris from a drain or culvert if there is moving water or water is higher than knee deep.
2. Always check for traffic before entering the street or road.
3. Wear your yellow safety vest.
4. The best times to clear your drain are just before and after rainstorms.
5. Separate out any debris that is not yard waste, such as cans, cardboard, etc.
6. Bag all materials in the bags provided and notify the DPW who will pick up your bag(s).
7. Report any problems with the drain and pollutants flowing into the drain to the DPW.

A TWI board member will contact you to arrange a time to deliver your safety vest and
gloves. At that time you will be asked to sign this waiver:
I, the volunteer applicant, release the Town of Tisbury and Tisbury Waterways, Inc. from
any claim for damage to persons or property resulting from the clearing of debris from the
adopted drain(s). I agree to regularly remove the debris from my drain in accordance with
the guidelines, safety tips, terms and liability waiver listed above.
